It is a national treasure with a three-storied pagoda built in 1432 by Nobumoto Kobayakawa, the lord of Ikuchi Island at that time. The eclectic and vivid vermilion appearance of Japanese and Tang dynasties is impressive, and it is one of the most beautiful ones built in the early Muromachi period.
