Torinzan Jigen-in Ioji is a Shingon Buddhist temple said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi in the Heian period. The principal image is a wooden standing statue of Yakushi Nyorai, which has been designated as a prefectural important cultural property. It is built on the side of a mountain and offers a magnificent view of Tomonoura below.
