Momobayashiyama Jigenin Ioji Temple is a temple of the Shingon sect that is said to be the foundation of Kobo Daishi in the Heian period. The principal image is a wooden pharmacist Nyorai statue, which is designated as a prefectural important cultural property. It is built on the mountainside and has a wonderful view of Tomonoura below.
