Surrounded by mountains, a natural park where you can feel the beautiful nature and the changes of the four seasons

Located in the northernmost part of Fukuyama City, this natural park consists of two gorges, Ryuzukyo and Sarunakikyo. Surrounded by the gently sloping mountains of the Chugoku Mountains, you can enjoy the changing scenery with each season, from cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in early summer, to autumn leaves in autumn, as well as the flurry of fireflies, the cries of sculpins echoing through the babbling stream, and the cries of wild monkeys. In autumn, the view of the autumn leaves from Momiji Bridge is spectacular. Also, Iwaya Gongen, located in a cave made of huge limestone boulders, is a historic shrine that retains vestiges of ancient faith. There is also a campsite that is popular with groups and families, where you can fully enjoy the great outdoors.
