A shrine that is said to enshrine Gennai Hiraga, who introduced Gennai ware.

Hiraga Gennai, a Dutch scholar from the Takamatsu Domain, once stayed at the Mizokawa family home in Tomono during his travels around the country. It is said that on this occasion he passed on the method of making Gennai ware and left instructions to enshrine Hiraga Gennai Daimyojin, the god of earth and hearth, as Sanbo Kojin, before leaving. This living shrine was enshrined by the Mizokawa family in 1764. (*Hiroshima Prefecture Historic Site)
