Upstream of the scenic Takiyama Gorge, a dam lake that changes its taste in each season
It is an artificial lake created by constructing a 60m-high dam on the ground of "Odomari" in the gorge and storing water for the installation of a hydroelectric power plant in 1933. In September 1956, we started the 10.5m bulking work, which is said to be the first in Japan, and completed it in May 1959, and it continues to be the Odomari Dam. Located upstream of the scenic Takiyama Gorge, the beauty of the lake is reflected in the fresh greenery, autumn leaves, the silver world and the colorful lake water, entertaining visitors with different tastes every four seasons.
