A campus-wide museum where you can connect with research and nature.

This university museum opened in 2006. The main building, which houses permanent exhibitions, features exhibits deeply connected to the local area, including valuable fossil specimens, displays of familiar natural environments such as the Seto Inland Sea and the Chugoku Mountains, animal taxidermy, and materials on endangered species. The campus also boasts a nature trail called "Discovery Trail" and satellite exhibitions located throughout, making the entire university a unique exhibition space.

Furthermore, the museum hosts events such as field tours (nature observation sessions, etc.) where visitors can learn while enjoying the campus's nature, and lectures by researchers, making it a popular museum where people of all ages can deepen their learning.
