It spreads a large tree crown of about 30 m in height and grows conspicuously.
This large oak tree has a root circumference of 10.8m, trunk circumference at the eye level of 7.4m, and a height of about 30m. It is called "maki" in the local dialect and was often used as fuel for steelmaking and firewood. It is a natural monument of Hiroshima Prefecture.
