If you head south in the Yoshijima district of Hiroshima City, you will suddenly come across a huge facility. This eye-catching modern building is actually a waste incineration facility. This facility does not hide the negative image of waste incineration facilities, but instead puts it in the foreground. A through passage called the "Ecorium" runs through the center of the building, and as you pass through the passage while looking at the silver pipes, you will see the sea in front of you. Why not come and see this state-of-the-art incineration equipment through glass? The Naka Factory is a waste incineration plant that incorporates the latest technology, and its architectural design was created by world-famous architect Yoshio Taniguchi.
