The "Cycling Road" on the Shimanami Kaido, which connects Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture and Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture, is the first bicycle path in Japan that can cross the strait. Cycling roads are attached to all bridges except Shinonomichi Bridge. There are plenty of bicycle rental facilities, and bicycles can be rented at terminals in Onomichi and each island, so even beginners can easily enjoy cycling. Enjoy cycling along the sea road that connects the islands full of history and culture while gazing at the beauty of the islands!
