Momijidani Park, which is right next to Kintaikyo Bridge, is a park of several temple sites that have existed since the Edo period. In the old days, this area was called "Teratani" and many temples were gathered there. The park is always quiet and has a calm atmosphere, and both the fresh green maples and the autumn leaves are quaint and entertain the eyes of tourists. There are about 1,000 maples and maples in the park, including the adjacent Kikko Park, and when it is in full bloom, it is dyed vividly in vermilion and orange.
