The best viewing spot on the Shimanami Kaido

Kirosan Observation Park, at an elevation of 307.8m, is located at the southern tip of Oshima Island and is designated as part of the Setonaikai National Park. From the panoramic observation bridge, you can see the world's first triple suspension bridge, the Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge, the tidal currents of the Kurushima Strait, one of Japan's three fastest currents, and on a clear day, Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in western Japan, which is located in the Shikoku Mountain Range. The illuminated Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge and the night view of Imabari City are also impressive. Enjoy the spectacular panorama with its many different faces.
