An art gallery that brings art closer to you, from introductions to Hatsukaichi artists and national traveling exhibitions to elementary school art exhibitions.
Hatsukaichi Art Gallery opened in April 1997 with the aim of becoming a "small town art museum" where people can enjoy art up close. We plan exhibitions of various genres, including the introduction of local Hatsukaichi artists, the Peace Art Exhibition, which considers peace through art, large-scale national touring exhibitions, and "Kids Art," which introduces art and craft works by elementary school students in Hatsukaichi. In addition, the gallery is widely used as a rental gallery, where local groups and individuals can exhibit their works. Adjacent to Hatsukaichi City Hall, Hatsukaichi Culture Hall Sakurapia, and Hatsukaichi Public Library, the gallery is loved by many as a cultural hub.
