It is a long-established sake brewery founded in the first year of Kyoho (1716) in the middle of the Edo period. The origin of the brand Shinrai is "a long time ago, there was a thunder struck in the warehouse, but there was no big mistake without catching fire." It was named "Jinseki". In the chaotic times after the Pacific War, we changed the reading from "jinrai" to "shinrai" with the desire to "reliably drink". Located at an altitude of 500 meters in the Chugoku Mountains, the brewery is a harsh environment where summers are cool and brewing often records below -5 ° C in winter, making it a suitable environment for brewing.
