A valley full of negative ions where you can enjoy a walk

This is a famous gorge located upstream of the Mitani River. Within the gorge, there are famous spots such as the 40m Nidan Falls, the 20m Okunotaki Falls, Namera Falls, Omori Falls, and Hikiake Forest, and a walking trail leads to Ryuzukyo Okunotaki Falls. You can enjoy hiking and forest bathing while taking in the fresh greenery in summer and the autumn leaves in autumn. It is one of the five Therapy Roads® in Akiota Town, and is known as a gentle course that is easy for beginners.
