Company tour to learn more about rice milling and rice
Satake offers company tours to help you learn more about rice and Satake. The tour lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours and includes a company introduction video followed by a tour of the facilities. You will see the Welcome Hall, which displays about 250 types of grains, the latest rice milling equipment, a model of the first rice milling machine developed in Japan, and the Comprehensive Sorting and Processing Center, where tests are conducted using the latest sorting machines. Upon request, you can also sample Magic Rice. For upper elementary school students, we offer a "Rice School." Through lectures, experiments, and tours, you will learn about rice trivia, such as how rice is processed after it is harvested from the rice fields and served at the dinner table.
