Spring precincts visit with monks
The "Takigumo" waterfall, which will be open to the public for the first time in Hiroshima, is a fantastical artificial sea of clouds that makes use of the topography of Daisho-in Temple. Monks will guide groups of about 10 people around the temple grounds, explaining about the temple, Buddhism, and the history of Miyajima. A prayer (purification) will be held for good fortune in the new year, and you can enjoy the sea of clouds and illuminated cherry blossoms.
