A scenic spot where you can go to the top of the mountain by car
In the center of the Murotsu Peninsula, surrounded by islands, stands Mt. Ohoshiyama, 438 meters above sea level, with seven wind turbines for generating electricity standing along the mountain ridge. From the Mt. Ohoshiyama Observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Hirao, the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, and the wind turbines. If the weather is good, you can see all the way to the Kunisaki Peninsula of Kyushu and Shikoku.
