A 793.5m bridge that draws a gentle curve
This bridge, which connects Hirao-machi and Tabuse-machi, is 793.5m long and 575m long on the inner bridge, with a gentle curve. Ceramic panels are embedded in the walkway, bearing messages of dreams written by elementary school students at the time of the bridge's completion. On the Hirao-machi side, there is a mooring facility for small boats, as well as public toilets and a gazebo. There is also a monument bearing a haiku by Kubo Hakusen, a native of Sagoshima, Hirao-machi. Crossing this bridge from the Hirao-machi side will take you to National Route 188.
