Nagatsuka Shrine in Nagatsuka, Asaminami Ward, was hit by the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945 (Showa 20), 3.69 kilometers from the hypocenter.
The main hall was built in 1828 (Bunsei 11).
Although it was severely damaged by the atomic bomb blast, it was restored and rebuilt in 1964.
