A temple dedicated to Kani Saizo, famous for the Miso Jizo, which is used to pray for entrance exams by offering miso to the head of the Jizo.
This temple is dedicated to Saizo Kani, a retainer of Masanori Fukushima. The miso jizo statue in the precincts, which is related to Saizo, is famous, and even today, many applicants and parents offer miso paste to the head of the jizo statue to pray for success. In November 2004, a stone statue of Saizo Kani was erected.
