The first floor is stocked with world-class brands such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany, Chanel, and Gucci, as well as a wide selection of popular domestic and international cosmetic brands. There are also many popular brands such as "SABON", "THREE", and "ReFa". The second to fourth floors are stocked with women's clothing brands that are popular with a wide range of customers, from young career women to married women, and the third floor is a sophisticated space with popular men's and women's brands such as "Brunello Cucinelli", "Giorgio Armani", "Salvatore Ferragamo", "Etro", and "Tod's". The basement food section is attractive for its selection of Hiroshima specialties and souvenirs, which is unique to a local department store. In addition, the 9th floor restaurant floor has a wide variety of restaurants, including the Kyoto restaurant Tankuma Kitaten and the Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurant Yugagiku, which is loved by families and seniors alike. It was a modern building with air conditioning and heating, which was still rare at the time, and it was crowded with many customers. However, the era was already wartime. In 1945, the store was forced to close as it was used by the army and control companies. In the same year, the atomic bomb was dropped 710 meters from the hypocenter. After the war, the unused floors were used for rental, but in 1951 (Showa 26), the store finally recovered its pre-war sales floor area. It has been expanded and renovated several times, and in 1972 the exterior walls were completely renovated.
