The gorgeous romon gate in front is one of the three Iwami gates, and its splendid carvings are a highlight.

The origin is unknown. It is said that Mr. Kuchiba entered the family register during the Sengoku period. In 1848 (Edo period), the tower gate, made by master craftsman Kiichiro Nagayama, was unfinished due to the gorgeousness of the carvings, such as the structure and parent and child dragons. There are many treasures such as the richly colored ring storehouse and the giant Tarayou tree.
