The Former Yamazaki Residence is the residence of the Yamazaki family, who served as Nichinuki's Shoya. It is a designated cultural property of Onan Town. It was built in 1779 (1779) by master carpenter Ginzan Ryou Kawatohei Shichi, and the helmet-shaped thatched roof is very rare, and it is thought to represent the status of a village headman.
