Inoko Festival handed down in Hiroshima

"Inoko, inoko, inoko mochi, prosperity, prosperity..." children chant as they push the Inoko stone around, breathing out white breath. The Inoko Festival has been reborn in a new form with the creation of a device called the Inoko Installion, which hoists a large stone into the air with the power of 88 bamboo stalks. The O-Inoko Festival is an old and new festival that inherits the spirit of the Inoko Festival while reviving the flexible exchange with the diverse and mysterious power of nature in a style suitable for us who live in the present. There are many things to see, such as the Inoko Procession, the O-Inoko, the festival, and the tug-of-war. The food stalls will have delicious food for children, bamboo sake, and wild boar dishes.
