You can experience Zen meditation and copying sutras at Shounji Temple, where the grave of Ura Munekatsu, a close aide of Kobayakawa Takakage, is located. Tadanoumi is a place named after Taira Tadamori (father of Taira Kiyomori). From the temple, you can look down on the Seto Inland Sea, and behind it is Kurotakiyama, where you can see all the way to the Shikoku United Mountains. Kurotakiyama has a Kannon Hall and 33 stone Buddhas, and even beginners can enjoy hiking. In addition, the coastal area is recommended for a leisurely walk, with the remains of Ura Munekatsu's Kagi Castle and Tokoura Shrine. Okunoshima, which visitors from all over the world visit, is the famous rabbit island. It is famous as an island that was once erased from maps as an island of poisonous gas.
