This unique museum inherits the wisdom of Toshiko Tanaka, a survivor of the atomic bombing and a leading figure in wall cloisonné art, and connects and expresses the "past (the reality of the atomic bombing)" and "future (peace culture)" through art.
[Highlights]
By offering a "Peace x Art" experience that transcends language to people around the world,
we will pass on the "Prayer for Peace by A-bomb Survivors" to future generations.
[Itinerary]
Artworks are exhibited in three rooms with different concepts: Beginning, Prayer, and Thought.
Beginning: View Toshiko Tanaka's profile.
"Mindset" before viewing the art.
Prayer: A space for quietly experiencing a prayer for peace.
Everyone will paint peace and "face themselves."
Thought: A space to experience the passion behind Toshiko Tanaka's artwork.
Through her artwork, "reflect on the past and future" and "reflect on your own depiction of peace."
