A special exhibition is held for each session from the collection of approximately 2,200 pieces, including Japanese paintings, oil paintings, prints, and drawings. In addition, the museum holds a Ranshimakaku Gallery Concert after closing time on the third Saturday of each month. There are two art museums in the surrounding area, as well as cultural facilities such as the Korean Embassy Museum, the Ceramics Museum, the Tea House, and the Insect House, all within walking distance.
