Base facility for waste reduction and recycling promotion
Hiroshima City Western Recycle Plaza was established in April 1997 as a base facility for waste reduction and recycling promotion, in order to raise awareness of "using things wisely" and "not throwing away as much waste as possible" by carefully separating and recycling recyclable waste that has been collected and reused furniture and clothing that have become unusable. [About facility tours] Individual visitors: You can come and tour the facility at any time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the reception desk. Group visitors: Plaza staff will guide you on a tour of the entire facility. Tour contents: Overview explanation and video viewing in the training room on the 3rd floor, tour of the recyclable waste sorting line on the 2nd floor, exhibition hall on the 1st floor (tour of the eco-products corner), tour of the bicycle recycling room (end), free tour Duration: Approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes How to apply: Reservations must be made by phone, etc. (Please note that the recyclable waste sorting line on the 2nd floor may be stopped when the amount of waste is low or on certain days.)
