Fukuro-machi (Urabukuro)

Fukuro-machi is a downtown area in the center of Hiroshima, surrounded by Hondori, Kamiya-cho, Namiki-dori, etc. It is a popular area for young people where fashionable cafes and wine bars gather. The business district is also close, so it is Fukuromachi where there is such an image that office workers on the way home from work to groups of university students meet here and start a drinking party at night.
In particular, two streets on the south side of the Hondori shopping street known for being one of the biggest in the Chugoku region, that are “Urabukuro,” and its surrounding. Here, there are many unique stores and hidden famous stores that are not on the main street.
