Special Exhibition “Perfume COSTUME MUSEUM” [Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art]
Perfume continues to perform at the forefront of the global stage. The beautiful and creative costumes that have accompanied A-chan, Kashiyuka, and Nocchi, as they stand before tens of thousands of spectators, have shared in many challenges and moments of joy together.
This exhibition, which originates from the 'Perfume COSTUME BOOK 2005-2020' (Bunka Publishing Bureau, 2020), is the first large-scale costume exhibition showcasing a carefully selected collection of approximately 180 costumes.
The exhibition traces the costumes worn since Perfume's major debut in chronological order, and also includes special selections chosen by the three members specifically for this exhibition.
Additionally, for the first time, the exhibition presents pattern designs and creative materials that showcase the sources of inspiration behind the costumes. It is an exhibition that unravels the charm of Perfume through the costumes that have been carefully preserved over the years.
