A shrine located on the south side of the Mitarai Townscape Conservation Area. It was erected in 1830 (Bunsei 13), the year after the completion of the Chisako Wharf (Great Breakwater) constructed by the Hiroshima Domain, as a guardian shrine for this wharf. Although the shrine is small, it accurately imitates Sumiyoshi Taisha in Osaka, and was donated by Konoike, a wealthy merchant in Osaka. The stone lanterns left in the precincts were also donated by the Konoike clan, and many prostitutes who wished for the prosperity of Mitarai also donated Tamagaki. At the entrance to the approach, there is a 6.18m high lantern and a stone drum bridge.
