Ochaya (Honjin) trace

In Saijo Yokkaichi (currently around the east side of JR Saijo Station), which prospered as a post town on the Saigoku Kaido during the Edo period, the headquarters of the Hiroshima domain called Ochaya was located. After that, in the Meiji era, it was used as the Kamo-gun government office and then the Kamo regional office. The current gate is a restoration of the Omotsuru Gate at that time by Kamotsuru Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., and is owned by Kamotsuru Sake Brewery.
