The main hall is an important cultural property of Hiroshima Prefecture with the style of the Sengoku period, and is said to have been founded by Tomozane Fujiwara.

It is a temple of the Shingon sect called Mt. According to the auspicious picture scroll that is handed down to the temple, it is said that it was founded by Tomomi Fujiwara, who went down to Aki no Kuni to pursue Fujiwara no Sumitomo during the Tengyo era (938-947). The main hall that remains today is one of the few old buildings in the Aki region that has the style of the Warring States period, and is designated as an important cultural property of Hiroshima Prefecture.
