There are night lights, so you can enjoy cherry blossoms at night.
Along the Saijo River, at the entrance to the city from National Route 183, you will find Otomiyama Renshoji Temple. It has a long history, said to have been founded in 1515. Standing gracefully next to the main hall is a 150-year-old weeping cherry tree of the Edo Higan variety, with the sight of the slightly dark flowers blooming all at once from the tree's 10m-high top to near the ground being a spectacular sight. Nighttime illumination is also available, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. The best time to see them is usually around April 10th.
