A bay facility that still remains in the historic townscape of Tomonoura. It is designed so that the ship can berth without being affected by the ebb and flow of the tide at the stepped dock where stones are piled up. Those built during the Kansei era are still in active use, and together with the nightlight, tell the history of Tomo Port.
