It's also notable for its "Discover West Hike with a Local Guide" (meeting at 1:30 PM; approximately two hours long), where local guides guide you through drama filming locations and historic temples, providing a deeper insight into Takehara's history. No reservations are required and participation is free, and this highly recommended plan allows you to spend time immersed in the town's history while enjoying conversations with local guides.

The facility serves as a base for strolling through the historic town, offering a wide range of uses, from resting to souvenir shopping.

The local produce and direct-from-farm corner on the first floor offers a wide selection of fresh local vegetables and fruits, flash-frozen local fish, traditional confections, and specialty seasonings. The tourist information corner on the second floor offers a wide selection of regional specialties, including sake from Takehara's three proud breweries, bamboo crafts, and adorable "rabbit goods."

At the hotel's restaurant, you can easily enjoy local flavors such as meat udon and beef bowls made with the local brand "Taoshitagyu" beef, and marinated white fish bowls from the Seto Inland Sea. "Le Lapin," which is open only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, offers casual French cuisine eaten with chopsticks, as well as popular "Healthy Lunches for Vegetarians and Vegans" made only with vegetables, and the "Pyon-chan Parfait," which is perfect for social media.
