One of the largest aquariums in the Chugoku/Shikoku region, displaying 10,000 sea creatures of about 400 species

The concept is "From the Sea of Shimane to the Sea of Japan, and then to the Seas of the World". The first floor exhibits mainly the creatures that inhabit the Sea of Japan. Shimane Prefecture's prefectural fish, "flying fish", which is rare in Japan, is on display throughout the year, and there is also the "mythical sea" where large sharks and rays that appear in Izumo mythology are on display. On the 2nd floor is the "Beluga Performance Pool" where you can see the "Shiawase no Bubble Ring" ® of the beluga whale, which was used in a commercial for a major mobile phone company and became nationally famous. The "Sea Lions and Seals Pool" where you can see the performances of the sea lions, the "Penguin Pavilion" where you can see four types of penguins from various angles, and the "Beluga" where you can breed and research beluga whales.
