A huge rock in the shape of a dragon's head at the end of 443 stone steps
The huge rock that resembles a dragon's head behind the shrine is the stone head that flew away when the eight-pronged serpent was killed. It is said that Mizuomi Tsuno no Mikoto exterminated it. It is said that if there is no water in the hollow at the top of Dragon Rock on the festival day (March 3rd of the lunar calendar), there will be a drought. It is also known as a fall foliage spot, and you can see the beautiful scenery of maple leaves in autumn.
