Selected as "The World's Most Beautiful Art Museum"

This is the world's most beautiful art museum, awarded the UNESCO "Versailles Prize." Its diverse collection is based on the concept of "viewing art within art."

Opening in March 2023 in Harumi, Otake City, southwestern Hiroshima Prefecture, overlooking Miyajima, the museum is approximately 30 minutes from Miyajima and 45 minutes from Hiroshima city.

The museum also features architecture designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban.

Enjoy a moment of architecture and art, with a colorful "movable exhibition room" lined with water basins, the "Emile Gallé Garden" where seasonal flowers sway in the breeze, and the "Boyo Terrace" offering views of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands.

The museum houses approximately 500 pieces of art and crafts collected over half a century by Yumiko Shimose, CEO of Marui Sangyo Co., Ltd., a comprehensive manufacturer of building materials headquartered in Hiroshima City, and her parents.
