A museum where you can enjoy architecture by Shigeru Ban
- Seeing art within art. It will open in March 2023 in Harumi, Otake City, in the southwestern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, overlooking Miyajima. Located approximately 30 minutes from Miyajima and 45 minutes from Hiroshima city. An art museum where you can also enjoy architecture created by Shigeru Ban, an internationally active architect. A time to enjoy architecture and art, including the colorful "Movable Exhibition Room" lined with a water basin, the "Emile Gallé Garden" where seasonal flowers sway in the breeze, and the "Boyo Terrace" where you can see the beauty of the Seto Inland Islands. You can enjoy it. It houses approximately 500 pieces of art and crafts collected over half a century by Yumiko Shimose, CEO of Marui Sangyo Co., Ltd., a comprehensive manufacturer of building materials headquartered in Hiroshima City, and her parents.
