It is the only doll kiln in the prefecture, the Hanazono kiln. The tertiary dolls created in this kiln are the clay dolls that the lord of the third feudal lord, Choji Asano, brought back with the puppeteer of Edo Asakusa in the old days of Kanei (around 1633), and every time his vassals had a child, he gave this clay doll as a celebration. It is said that the gift was the beginning. After that, research and improvement were continued, and it became a beautiful and elegant doll with a unique luster called "light doll". In this kiln, painting is done only in the midwinter to give consideration to the coloring of glue as a device to create beautiful colors. It is the perfect souvenir for children.
