Tanohara Observation Deck

The view from the observation deck at the top of the mountain is spectacular! Below you can see the Enokawa River flowing leisurely through the mountains of the Chugoku Mountains. From autumn to winter, a sea of clouds spreads out, and you can see Mt. Sanbe in the distance. Also, on days when a particularly large sea of clouds occurs, you can witness a rare phenomenon called ``Ryogoku Oroshi'' where the sea of clouds rushes down from the direction of Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
