Try authentic snow camping in the heavy snowfall area at the southwesternmost tip of Japan!

Camping in the snow is a special experience only possible in winter, where you can set up a tent by trampling the snow and enjoy the warmth and flame of a bonfire while watching the snow fall gently. Koita Makiba no Sato is located on the edge of a satoyama village on a plateau at an altitude of 780 meters in the Chugoku Mountains, which is known as the southwesternmost region of Japan with heavy snowfall. This is a small handmade campground with 11 sections, where you can enjoy authentic snow camping in the snow of nearly 1 meter in winter. Although there are no special facilities at the campsite, there are flush toilets with heated toilet seats and a washing area with hot water immediately, so you can stay comfortably even in the cold season. There are no street lights or lights from private houses in the area, and all the lights in the venue are motion sensors, so it's dark at night.
