A base for sports, recreation and interaction
Kaita Comprehensive Park, which is a base for sports, recreation, and exchange in Kaita Town, aims to create a park that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons and a park with the participation of residents, taking advantage of the rich natural environment. In the park, there are a baseball field, tennis courts, sports facilities in a multipurpose plaza, walking paths that are close to nature, an herb garden, a plaza for the four seasons, a fruit garden and a murmuring plaza with abundant locations. This park, which started full-scale operation in April 2001, is gradually expanding its use through word of mouth from various fields and various media, and thanks to you, it is used by more than 200,000 people annually. The camphor tree and sunflower combination, which is one of the prefecture's leading large-scale outdoor playsets, is popular mainly with children. In addition, a dog park was opened in October 2015 and is used by dog lovers. The flowers that bloom in each season are also the charm of this park.
