Castle ruins overlooking Enokawa
This was the castle of Katsura Hirosumi, a vassal of the Mori clan. The ruins of the castle, which stands 80m above sea level and overlooks the Eno River in front, are divided into three parts: the west side, the center, and the eastern foothills. At the rear is Hoshiga Castle, and in 1997, local residents built a mountain trail, a tower gate, a watchtower, an observation deck, and other facilities. This facility won the Governor's Award in the Green Landscape category of the Hiroshima Prefecture Landscape Creation Awards.
