The new tourist train “Et Seto Ra (et cetera)” debuts!

In line with the “Setouchi Hiroshima Destination Campaign”, a new sightseeing train that runs on the Kure Line and the Sanyo Line (between Miyajimaguchi and Onomichi Station) will debut on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

Et Seto Ra (et cetera) : the train's name come from Latin and means “and many others. and so on. ... etc.” It expresses the fact that Setouchi is full of charms that are introduce one after another.
“Eto” means “many” and “a lot” in Hiroshima dialect, and it also contains the feeling that we want people to feel the "many" charms of Setouchi on this train.

The exterior is inspired by the “blue” of the sea in Setouchi and the “white” of the waves seen from the coastline, and it is a chic design that makes you feel the calm scenery of Setouchi.

The interior of Car 1 expresses the calm autumn atmosphere of Miyajima, and the pattern on the floor is inspired by Senjokaku in Miyajima.
The interior of Car 2 expresses the fresh green of the mountains in Setouchi, and the pattern on the floor is inspired by the stone paving of Onomichi.

On the way (in-bound line), you can enjoy sweets made by Japanese confectionery craftsmen and pastry chefs in Hiroshima prefecture.

On the out-bound line, you can enjoy original cocktails and sake made with gin from Hiroshima prefecture at the bar counter inside the train.
