Sera Kogen Farm in autumn, where 7,500 dahlias of 550 varieties, are the largest in western Japan. The magnificence of the super giant wheel, which has a diameter of 30 centimeters, is unparalleled, and it is a flower garden that is impressive even if you carefully appreciate it one by one. A dahlia festival is held from mid-September to late October, which is the best time to see them, and flower paintings of dahlias are also exhibited during the 3rd consecutive holiday in October. Autumn Harvest Festival
Daikon Festival ~ Hot oden for 1000 people! ~
At Sera Kogen Farm, an autumn harvest festival daikon festival is held on Saturdays and Sundays (only for 2 days) in late October or early November, and you can pull large daikon radish out of the field for 100 yen per bottle and take it home. In addition to hot oden served for free, mochitsuki and new rice balls are sold, and tasting of pickles using daikon radish are also sold. Don't forget your boots and gloves as you enter the field.
