Hiroshima prefecture is a prefecture where you can enjoy flowers throughout the year, but especially in spring, colorful flowers bloom at each farm, and the impressive flower scenery spreads.
Tulip <Sera Kogen Farm>
Tulip fields spread on an overwhelming scale
About 750,000 tulips of 300 species bloom from mid-April to mid-May at the Sera Kogen Farm. Each field in the park has a high theme, and the “flower painting” drawn by about 200,000 tulips is a masterpiece! It is deployed on one of the largest scales in Japan. A tulip festival is held every year from mid-April to the end of Golden Week, and it is crowded with many people.

Tulip & Viola <National Bihoku Hillside Park>
A tulip and viola competition that blooms brilliantly!
You can see about 100,000 tulips blooming in the viola carpet from mid-April to early May at the 1.5-hectare flower plaza in the park. The view from the Hanano-Observatory is a must-see! Let's enjoy the large panorama consisting only of the blue sky and flowers.
Moss phlox (shiba zakura) <Flower village Kamu no Sato>
The four colors of phlox spread across the hill are a masterpiece!
One of the largest moss phlox gardens in western Japan. About 800,000 moss phlox are in full bloom on a hill of 50,000 square meters. The appearance of a large picture drawn with four-color phlox, resembling a vast hill as a campus, is like a carpet of vivid flowers. During the Moss Phlox Festival from mid-April to early May, there are also events that you want to participate in with your children, such as pony children riding experience (Sundays and holidays only), and demonstration sales of pong confectionery, so be sure to check them out.
Poppy <Kozan Lavender Hill >
A moment of peace of mind in the appearance of a cute poppy
At the Kozan Lavender Hill, which is surrounded by green mountains, about 500,000 red, orange, and yellow Icelandic poppies bloom all over the area in spring, creating a stunning landscape. The Poppy Festival is held from mid-April to late May when it is in full bloom.
