There are many tourist farms in Hiroshima prefecture where you can enjoy fruit picking. There are many farms that cultivate differents of varieties and have an abundance of experiences, so you can enjoy the farm all day long.

A tourist farm where you can experience fruit picking throughout the year. Starting with strawberry picking from early December to early June, seasonal fruits such as cherries, plums, peaches, pears, grapes (Delaware, Pione, etc.), and apples appear in order. In addition, in the large park of 15 ha, there are not only fruit fields, but also cafes that relocated 100-year-old houses, and takeout cafes where you can enjoy drinks and sweets using fruits. There are plenty of experience menus, and canning fruits, outdoor cooking experiences using Dutch ovens, and BBQs are also popular.

During the season when there are many kinds of fruits, we also recommend the “Just Picking” experience where you can harvest and eat various fruits little by little! Unlike all-you-can-eat fruit picking, it's attractive that you can enjoy a variety of fruits at once. The event period is from the beginning of August to the end of October. Please enjoy it!

[Fruits] Strawberries, cherries, blueberries, pears, grapes, apples, kiwifruits

They cultivate strawberries from winter to spring, cherries in early summer, blueberries in summer, pears, grapes, apples, and kiwifruits from summer to fall, so you can enjoy seasonal fruit picking. Processed fruit products are also substantial, and jams, gelato, and apple pies that appear in the apple season are also popular as souvenirs. There is also a large lawn area of about 7,000 square meters, so it is also recommended for families.

You can enjoy picking four kinds of fruits: strawberries, cherries, pears, and grapes. At the nashi-en, we are focusing on making safe and secure fruits, such as mowing grass by hand without using herbicides and growing strawberries by hydroponics that hardly use pesticides.
The farm cafe “Casata” in the park offers gelato with plenty of fruits, strawberry kezuri ice (limited to summer only), etc. There is also a barbecue set for rent.

Many varieties such as 10 varieties of strawberries, 7 varieties of blueberries, 16 varieties of grapes, and 8 varieties of tomatoes are cultivated, and it is a tourist farm where you can enjoy seasonal tastes almost throughout the year. Of course, you can experience harvesting, but shaved ice, smoothies, and homemade jams with plenty of fruity are also popular.

【Fruits】Plum, Chestnut

At this tourist farm in the Sera Kogen, you can experience harvesting plums in summer and chestnuts in autumn. All of them are particular about organic cultivation, so you can eat them with confidence.
In spring, chrysanthemum peaches and 100,000 astragalus trees are in full bloom, and in autumn, you can enjoy walking around the flower garden.

[Fruits] Strawberries, pears, grapes

An orchard farm in Sera where fruit cultivation is popular in Hiroshima prefecture. In addition to red pears, which are popular for “babbling,” they also cultivate strawberries and grapes. The shop also sells processed products that have condensed the original sweetness of pears, such as “pear honey,” which is boiled down pears, and “pear chutney,” a jam made without using sugar. They also sell freshly harvested apples, peaches, and vegetables.

Honey Venus

[Fruits] Pears, grapes

Pears and grapes are cultivated on the plateau at an altitude of 400m. Three varieties of grapes are cultivated, including honey venus, which is rare with high sugar content. Pears adopt “bagless cultivation” with a higher content of vitamin C and sugar. At night, the entire farm is illuminated by moth-proof lights, and you can see a fantastic view.

In addition to fruits harvested in the park, the shop sells seasonal fruits such as cherries and peaches. Processed products such as tomato vinegar and handmade jams are also enriched.
